Course Description
This class will be conducted with non-firing dummy guns in a residence, and students will participate in roleplaying exercises simulating various threats including some in low-light conditions.

- Assessing your home’s exterior to identify likely entry points for intruders
- Exterior and interior modifications to deter intruders
- Alarm systems and other methods for automatic intruder alert
- Home defense equipment
- Tactics for dealing with home intruders (including building search skills)
- Use of light (home and flashlight) for tactical advantage
- Techniques for using both flashlight and firearm for home defense.
Prerequisites
Recommended: Basic Pistol 2, Texas LTC, or instructor approval.
