 Course Description

Statistics show that most gunfights occur in dim light, yet the lack of range facilities often prevents shooters from training in the environment in which a potential attack is most likely to occur. This course is intended to correct that deficiency.

This course is part of the core curriculum of the 40 hour Defensive Pistol Skills Program.

Required Equipment:

  • A centerfire handgun,
  • Belt holster,
  • Minimum of 2 spare magazines or speedloaders,
  • Magazine/speedloader carriers,
  • Eye and ear protection,
  • Baseball cap (to deflect spent brass and keep the sun out of your eyes),
  • Minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition,
  • A pushbutton flashlight (Maglite, SureFire, Streamlight or similar).
